2. Overview
This privacy policy applies to the websites wappensc.de and together-pad.com, including the invitation page together-pad.com/join.
This website is purely informational. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools and embeds no third-party content. Even the typeface is loaded directly from this server. Personal data is processed only to the extent described below.
On loading, a small script checks your preferred language locally in your browser in order to point you to the other language version of the page where appropriate. Nothing is stored and nothing is transmitted.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you visit the website, your browser automatically transmits information to the server, which is stored in so-called server log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- page or file requested
- amount of data transferred and HTTP status code
- previously visited page (referrer), if transmitted
- browser and operating system used
This processing is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its security and stability. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in the error-free and secure operation of the website.
STRATO stores the full IP address for a maximum of seven days to detect and defend against attacks. For access statistics, the IP address is anonymised; these log files are kept for up to six weeks, and aggregated statistics derived from them, which contain no personal data, for up to 400 days. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with STRATO.
4. Encryption
This website is transmitted over a TLS-encrypted connection (recognisable by “https://” in your browser’s address bar).
5. Contacting us
If you contact us by email or phone, the information you provide (e.g. name, contact details and the content of your enquiry) is processed in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract or to steps prior to entering into a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. under commercial or tax law) apply.
6. Your rights
Vis-à-vis the controller, you have the right to
- access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
Right to object: Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to it at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority is: Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information), Ludwig-Erhard-Straße 22, 20459 Hamburg, Germany.
7. Further information
You are not required by law or contract to provide your data. However, without the connection data listed in section 3, the website cannot be delivered. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
